About Me: Name: Dj Rolley Date Of Birth: 23/11/85 Years Mixing: 11 years Years Producing: Started off producing around 6 years ago on poor software and have have gradually built up to better software and equipment. Currently using a purpose built computer with with cubase sx4, protools 7, abelton live, and various vst's favourite has to to be massive, simple yet advanced. Bio: I'm a producer/Dj from East London, Co own Will Records and a self confessed record collector have well over 3000 records dating back to 1992 and represses dating back earlier. Influences: Biggest influence is Mampi swift love his style. Favourite D n B Track: I was drawn to drum and bass at an early age by tracks like 6 million ways to die, chopper and super sharp shooter. But favourite track producer wise has to be slam so well made. Favourite track to mix is game over Tc. It's a back up tune if you can't make your double drop it's 16 bar intro is so easy to get in time and it goes with everything. Overs are busted, flemenco and swamp thing. Dj Set Up: x3 Stanton T120's with Ortofon electro carts, Allen Heath X-One 62 mixer, 2x Alesis M1active 620's, 250 Watt pair of Speakers, 300W sub, 540W per channel pioneer amp, mackie 1642-vlz3 mixing desk, numark axis 9 cd deck ( sits under my desk collecting dust FUCK CD'S REAL DJ'S PLAY VIYNL!!!!!! ), sennheiser hd 25 headphones, sennheiser 815s Microphone and Speaker stands. Style: Jump up Double dropping sampling. Love a 4 deck mix. mainly mix anything with a good bass line catchy melody and a track that's well produced. Not feeling the way things are going with wobble seems like everyone's using it now. I like it but in moderation and only if its done well G-Dub Style.
